EROS is the kind of love named after the Greek god of love and fertility, Aphrodite. Aphrodite represented fertility through the act of sexual intercourse. That is why eros represents the idea of sexual passion and desire.
This love involves “loss of control” through the impulse of procreation. When eros love is misguided it will surely be indulged in and abused.
Eros is centered around selfish, personal infatuation and physical pleasure.
For the sake of participative discussion may we answer the following questions:
1. What do you say about the cases of rape happening anywhere around the world?
2. How do we see our physical bodies as the workmanship of God?
3. Are sexuality and spirituality opposing forces?
